Wilsonart's high pressure decorative laminate (HPDL) is regarded as the most environmentally friendly surface laminate on the market today. HPDL is a paper-based product created by bonding melamine-impregnated decorative papers to layers of resin-treated FSC® certified kraft paper under high heat and pressure. In the press, decorative papers are permanently bonded to FSC® certified kraft paper to form a sheet of laminate. Laminate is made up of several components and key ingredients. We utilize Wilsonart's HPDL by adhering it to either a CARB II compliant birch multiply or to our 100% recycled and CARB II compliant particle board with our non-PVC BioEdge™ edge band made from corn polymer.

FSC® Certfied Wood = 70% total by weight 

Total Resin Content = 30% total by weight 

Durability 

Wilsonart's high pressure decorative laminate (HPDL) with AEON™  Technology outperforms traditional laminate on wear resistance, as well as scratch/scuff/mar resistance. AEON™ reduces scuffing in transit, on the job site, during fabrication and installation, and long afterward. Even glossy surfaces and darker colors stay looking better, longer.

Antimicrobial Protection 

Wilsonart's enhanced antimicrobial protection is built into the laminate to protect the surface against damaging microbes. Antimicrobial agents protect the surface against growth of mold and mildew that cause stains and orders when used as surfaces.
